Contact usNo, this camera does not have a battery. It comes with a power adapter and must be plugged into a wall socket at all times. However, data is wirelessly transmitted via Wi-Fi.
The camera features a powerful antenna that can reach up to 300 metres under optimal conditions without obstacles like doors or walls. However, each obstacle in the signal path reduces the range by tenfold. For example, one barrier can decrease the effective distance to 30 metres, and two barriers can limit it to 3 metres.
To ensure reliable connectivity:
- Test the Location: Use a laptop at the potential installation spot and stream a high-resolution (4K) YouTube video over Wi-Fi. Ensure the video is set to 4K to get an accurate assessment.
- Check for Dropouts: If the video streams smoothly, the camera should perform well. If you experience any dropouts, expect similar issues with the camera’s connection.
- Prepare for Signal Loss: Install a microSD card in the camera to enable local recording. This ensures that footage is saved even if the wireless signal drops.
By following these steps, you can optimize your camera’s placement for the best performance and ensure continuous recording for complete security coverage.
It supports up to a 128GB microSD card. Make sure it’s suitable for surveillance use, as the camera continuously writes and reads data.
Once an SD card is inserted and formatted, the camera automatically starts recording and loops over the earliest footage when storage is full.
The default username is “admin,” and the default password is also “admin.” However, you’re required to change the password right after connecting it to the app (per GDPR). If you forget your password, press the reset button to restore factory settings—this will erase all previous configurations.

Face Detection Data
Our cameras come with smart face detection features. Face detection data exist only on your device and can be deleted at any time. It does not go anywhere else. Face detection features can be turned off at any time.
Video Footage
Your security footage is protected by your password and cannot be accessed without it. Once you have changed the default password of the device, only manufacturer can reset it, after confirmation of purchase and identity.
Audio Data
Audio recording can be turned on and off if the camera is equipped with a microphone. It cannot be accessed without your password.
App Access
One device can link up with a single mobile app account. However, you may share it with another account and cease sharing at any time.
